Love in the Midwest
To say the least I can not wait to make me a huge bowl of rice and beans with chorizo and a fried egg on top, with some plantains, oh and hot sauce. Lot’s of hot sauce. In my second installation of what looks to be a trilogy, I visit middle America, more precisely the non coastal America. Good times to be had with just enough detail to make you wanna find out more. I love Chicago like I love remembering where I left my jelly beans or finding five dollars in a really old coat pocket. I’ve spent some time there in the summer (ideally the time to go) and it’s just as fun with snow as it is with out it (minus the wind chill). I can’t remember where we played, empty broken bottle neck or some shit (shit referring to the latin- amazingous maximus), but these two fine badass bitches tagged team on two decks before we played (out load that doesn’t sound right). Not only did they have skills they were actually funny (regardless if Chess forgot my autographed tour poster that I was cutting up about).

Kid Static Myspace
I wish we could have had more time Moses. After the yo majesty set I tried wooing Kid Static to rock the mic on some dubstep shit which he did, very well. Holmes looks out for me when I come to the chi. He’s got a major project with Yea Big, called Kid Static and Yea Big. They get good press, top 1000 in Urb and such, but they sound dope.

Shannon is a bad ‘father fucker’. We arrived to her house terribly, terribly early for anyones liking, but regardless of that fact, she immediately started being an awesome host, you know like mami always having food ready for you chuleta style, hmmm. She and I chatted for a couple hours about all kinds of ish, she made food, coffee, we smoked she filled me in on the MPLS. She is a DJ, Stage Manager, publicist, booking agent, and Promoter. They don’t call her blow torch for nothing either. Oh and big up Tea Bag (that’s what she calls her girl friend).
First off I don’t know many men that can freestyle like this girl, secondly code switching between English and Spanish. Maria Isa, Tori Fixx, Shunda K and I got in the mobile studio we travel with over at Shannon’s house after the show and laid very nice vocals on one of my tracks. It’s getting edited.
