“Just another geek with a passion for understanding how systems work and using that knowledge to build them…and then consequently break them.” – Damon Cortesi. Trolling www.dcortesi.com will probably get you a little more interested in analytical stats of twitter in a not so healthy way. Cortesi is responsible for applications such as:

Now on to Google Waves.
If you have an hour, this video will explain everything and get you hyped.
It doesn’t answer every question but you can check out a bunch of ideas in the suggestion section HERE
If you don’t have time for that……
What is a wave?
A wave is equal parts conversation and document. People can communicate and work together with richly formatted text, photos, videos, maps, and more.
A wave is shared. Any participant can reply anywhere in the message, edit the content and add participants at any point in the process. Then playback lets anyone rewind the wave to see who said what and when.
A wave is live. With live transmission as you type, participants on a wave can have faster conversations, see edits and interact with extensions in real-time.

It kind of looks like Seesmic Desktop. I’ll wait to get invited and keep you updated!
