We've got a new night at Creekside (606 East 7th St. Austin, TX) every Wednesday night featuring some Raw Word Records DJs. There will be four turntables, a live PA and percussionist from 10pm until 2am. Our first night was January 10th it was packed and it's only going to get thicker. Come out next week and tell your friends cause the drinks are cheap and the entertainment is banging.

January 20th

That's right my Austin friends, we bring you the goods. There are few things in this world that trump free pizza, and one of them is free... beverages. A cheap show with awesome bands isn't far behind that. So, it goes without saying that you can't miss this laughably great event. With classic good time Austin bands like Clap! Clap! and Foot Foot, and dance-the-night-away Dj's Orion and Jazz One, you are guaranteed a little more than the trivial $5 suggested donation to the talent suggests. So don't miss it, it's only a week away.

January 28th

Broad Band Selecta and Dj JBL will be performing thier super roots rock reggae sets for us this sunday. Come chill back and enjoy the ambience and the cheap drinks at the Fire House Lounge on Brazos in Austin, TX.

Join the Fiction Circus for an evening of mayhem and refreshingly chaotic word play at Beer Land on Sunday January 28th. The night will feature death destruction and pretty little flying elephants that will crush a face when it sees one. See ya then.

February 2nd

Raw Word Records presents Favela Funk with dj orion at the Creekside. If you miss this you haven't got your priorities straight cause the drinks are cheap as hell and it's free. Special guests will feature Caporiea students, members of the Samba School and dj a lib. Be there or be L7.
